The Executive Chef of The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa will share the secret of cooking game meat to perfection in a series of food evenings at the award-winning Cape Town Hotel.
With a passion for game meat, Henrico Grobbelaar will demonstrate to his audience how he prepares his specialities – crocodile carpaccio, loin of springbok with potato bake and pickled onions, served with a classic butternut puree. After watching the culinary safari being created before them, guests will end their meal with Henrico’s dessert of choice, crème brulee.
A former Sunday Times Chef of the Year, Grobbelaar was Executive Chef for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup before bringing his talents to the kitchen at the Twelve Apostles Hotel.
