Swim with Horses
Equine enthusiasts of all ages and riding levels, will have the memorable opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled Swimming with Horses adventure at Honingklip. Dress down for the occasion in just your swimwear and ride into azure waters.
Expect splashing and the occasional grunt of pleasure from both humans and animals. We of course cannot guarantee on how deep you will go but we can guarantee you shrieks of laughter, fun and you will get wet, maybe even soaked.
Afterwards, hop off your steed and allow them to enjoy a well-deserved roll on the sands while you do a beer tasing from Honingklip Brewery.
What got us Started?
A few of our horses simply love to swim in the dam, even winter-time. We decided to offer this to our clients as a little summer fun adventure. You will go for a relaxed walk to the dam, we will then remove the saddle, you hop back on and off you go into the dam.
The yard is relaxed comfortable and is run by a small team of horse lovers. Our horses’ well being always comes first.
