5 Gold Medalist's Tygerberg Children's Choir and Stellenberg Girls Choir to perform in Cape Town

After receiving a feast of medals at t he 7th World Choir Games in Cincinnati,  Ohio in July this year, Tygerberg Children`s Choir and Stellenberg Girls Choir join forces in an unforgettable choral concert to celebrate their excellent achievements. 
Between the two choirs, they brought home a whopping five gold medals. Stellenberg Girls Choir was crowned double world champions in two categories, and Tygerberg Children`s Choir obtained two second places. All of this against the world`s very best choirs. These two brilliant choirs from the Western Cape will be joined by the Palissander Chamber Choir from Pretoria, who is celebrating its 20th anniversary. 
Tygerberg Children`s Choir is 40 years old this year and will end the year with a Gala Concert in Artscape on December 8.

La Grotto, Plumsteads 40 year old secret!

With subtlety and finesse, Chef Gary Farinha's vision was crystal clear when he took over the 40 year old La Grotto Restaurant in Plumstead - Excellence!

Mouth watering steaks, seafood and ribs was served on our table. Every dish that we ordered from the menu arrived beautifully plated, tasty and generous portions of vegetables and breads. The menu proved of good wines to be accomplished by our meals and its relaxed vibe aided by its policy of professional table service.

Gary Farinha has been in the restaurant trade for more than 20 years, part owning Surfside at Strand Pavilion and The Flying Dutchman in Gordonsbay. With strong leadership and commitment chances are that La Grotto will still be here in another 40 years!
